Operator in the ERP.net Web Client
Show Operator as a side panel next to any record.
Once registered, Operator appears on the right-hand side of every single-record form in the ERP.net Web Client. Open Sales Order 12345 or the customer ACME and the assistant is already there, already knowing which record is on the screen.
What users get
- A panel on every record form — sales orders, customers, products, and everything else.
- The open record is handed to the assistant automatically, so a user can type "summarise this", "who bought it last month" or "what changed recently" without naming the record.
- Conversations start with the Business Specialist.
- Opening a different record reloads the panel with the new record in context.
Example
A salesperson opens Sales Order 12345, types "is anything on this order out of stock?" in the panel, and gets the answer for that exact order.
Registering the panel
Registration is done once per ERP.net instance by an Instance Admin:
- Open the instance selector in the top bar and go to Manage instance.
- Choose Web Client Integration.
- Read what the panel does, then press Register side panel and confirm.
- Reload the ERP.net Web Client and open any record.
The page shows whether the panel is currently registered, lets you re-apply the registration after an update, and lets you Remove it again. View payload shows exactly what is written to the instance, for admins who want to inspect it.
Notes
- Only Instance Admins see this page, and the registration applies to everyone working in that instance's Web Client.
- Each user still signs in to Operator inside the panel with their own account, and sees only the data their ERP.net rights allow.
- Removing the registration takes effect after the Web Client is reloaded.
