Buying AI Credits

Operator lets you top up an ERP.net instance with AI credits that fund AI requests run against that instance.

Who can buy

Only users with the Instance Admin role on a connected instance can purchase credits for that instance. Open the instance dropdown in the top bar and pick Buy AI Credits — the menu entry only appears when the active instance is one you administer.

How it works

• Credits are attached to the instance (identified by its base URL), not to your personal user account. Anyone connected to that instance shares the same pool.
• Purchases are one-time top-ups — there are no subscriptions, no auto-renewal.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Operator never sees your card details.

Packages

Prices below are net, excluding tax. Any applicable VAT or sales tax is added at checkout based on your country.

Invoices and tax

Stripe handles the payment end to end for credit purchases:

• Tax is calculated and added at checkout for your country.
• The invoice / receipt is issued and emailed by Stripe right after payment — you do not need to request it from Operator.
• The same invoice is also always available inside Operator: after a purchase completes, a View invoice link appears, and every paid purchase in Credit management → Purchase history carries a link to its invoice (with the invoice number). Use it if the email is lost or went to a different mailbox.
• Your card statement shows LINK.COM* followed by the Operator descriptor.

Buying as a company (VAT number, reverse charge)

Business buyers can enter their company details and VAT number during checkout — the payment step is hosted by Stripe and collects the billing address and business identity itself.

• Where the reverse charge applies (for example, a VAT-registered business in another EU country), no VAT is added and the invoice is issued accordingly.
• Where it does not apply, VAT for your country is added on top of the net price.
• Either way the invoice is issued by Stripe as the seller of record, so no separate request to Operator is needed.

After payment

Once Stripe confirms the payment, the instance balance updates automatically — usually within a few seconds. The Buy AI Credits page polls in the background after a successful checkout, so you'll see the new balance without refreshing.

Every top-up is recorded under Purchase history on the same page, with date, package size, amount and status. Amounts shown there are the net package prices, excluding tax.

Test mode

In the preview environment, the page runs in Stripe test mode. Use Stripe's test card 4242 4242 4242 4242 with any future expiry and any 3-digit CVC.
