Authoring a Package
A package is the unit of sharing in the Community. It bundles one or more of your apps and agents into a single listing — one install grants the recipient access to everything inside.
Who can author
Power users (level 30+) can publish packages.
Starting a new package
Open Community → My Listings → New package (also reachable from the profile menu shortcut). The editor is laid out so you can work top-to-bottom: pick what's inside first, then describe it.
1. Items in this package
This is the heart of the package. Use the Add app and Add agent buttons to open a multi-select picker:
- Search matches both names and descriptions
- Each result shows an excerpt of the description and a thumbnail
- Hover any item to get a larger preview with full details
Selected items appear in an ordered list. Drag them by the handle to reorder — the first item determines the default package thumbnail. Hover items in this list too to see their previews.
2. Details
Collapsible — title, short summary, longer description (markdown supported), and the package thumbnail.
- If the package has exactly one item, the details are auto-copied from that item.
- For multi-item packages, you can fill them yourself or press Guess with AI to let the assistant write a name, summary and description from the contents.
- If you leave Details empty and hit Submit, AI guessing runs automatically as part of saving.
3. Categories
Collapsible — up to 3 categories. Use Guess with AI to have the assistant pick them based on what's inside the package. As with Details, empty categories are AI-guessed automatically on submit.
4. Advanced
Collapsible — install scope and install permission.
- Allowed install scope — User installs, Instance installs, or Both (default)
- Install permission — Anyone can install (default) or Requires my approval
Note: a package that contains any agent can only be offered at the user scope.
5. Message to moderators (optional)
A short note that's shown to the reviewer when they open your submission. Useful for context: what changed in this version, why you put two things together, who you built it for.
6. Activity
A chronological stream for this listing — your submissions, reviewer decisions, messages, install requests. Same timeline that appears in Managing Your Listings.
Thumbnails and translation
- Item thumbnails are generated automatically — an app screenshot for apps, the diagram for agents.
- The package thumbnail defaults to the first item's thumbnail; you can upload your own.
- On submit, the title, summary and description are translated to English automatically. The original language is remembered and shown alongside the English version in the gallery via the language toggle.
