# ERP.net Operator > Operator is an AI agent and app building platform for ERP.net. AI agents work with your business data, answer questions and take action; Digital Entities run always-on with memory and their own work rhythm; the App Builder turns conversations into working business apps. It is not a chat assistant bolted onto a website: it queries live business data, performs work in the systems the company already uses, and keeps watching processes over time. Who it is for: ERP.net customers — management, sales, operations, finance and customer service teams — who want AI applied to everyday operational work. What it changes: - Less routine work: repetitive queries, checks and data entry are handled by AI. - Faster decisions: answers come straight from business data, without waiting for a report. - Nothing important gets missed: deadlines, exceptions and missed actions are watched continuously. - Faster adaptation: new workflows and small business apps appear in days. The platform has four building blocks: 1. Intelligent Workspace — one chat across business systems; ERP.net connected out of the box, other systems through MCP. 2. AI Agents — role-based agents that follow the company's procedures and can run unattended on triggers, schedules, webhooks and events. 3. Digital Entities — always-on agents with long-lived memory, their own task list and their own work rhythm; they notice what happened and what failed to happen. 4.
